Mom is back to normal

Update on Mom. She went to doctor early this month. I didn't go with her coz I was in Singapore my sister took her.

She ask her doctor "Doctor can I do house work ?" The doctor say can. She was not too happy to hear that.

Next question .. she ask the doctor .. "Can I go upstairs?" Doctor say in a few weeks.

Then she ask the most important question "Can I go shopping and go out to eat?" The doctor say "CAN". She was so happy.

Anyway the doctor say she should not try to climb the stairs until a few weeks later and someone must help her. Then one day my sister told she came home and she wonder why her window that was open and is now closed. Mmmmm.... and Dad said when he was sleeping upstairs in the afternoon.. Jake started barking very loudly upstairs.

The answer to the question is that Mom sneak upstirs without us knowing, Jake was telling us but nobody listen to him.

Anyway Mom has moved back upstairs to sleep.

Things are no longer fun

I don't know why but the holiday season seems to go by so fast. Now is only about one week till Chinese New Year and I feel like nothing. I remember days gone by when I would look forward to Chinese New Year. Look forward to the Reunion dinner, the cookies and the visiting.

Now when I think of Chinese New Year is like any other day. I think oh... no.. got to drive to so many places .. so hot...

It is so sad, where is the excitement where is the fun of catching up with relatives and so on. I think this year is worse for me because I think oh.. no .. I got to fly off soon. :-(.

Hopefully I will get more in the mood when i see the ang pow. (Hey.. it money ok.. and so say what u want to say if the money is given I will take)

Life is different

Currently I am coughing like a old woman. Having this cough since about 2 weeks ago and I can't even afford to take a day MC. Last week while coughing like crazy had to do 4 presentation.

This week my schdule is also full until Thursday. Life is so different, my last year in my previous company if I just had one sneeze in the morning, I would go and see the doctor and ask him for MC. I would gladly take it. Now I cant even afford to take one day MC.
