Nice to know Different Type of People

Had dinner with the Formis and ex Formis gang yesterday. This time we are quite even half Formis and Half ex Formis.

As usual it was one of those dinner where there was plenty of food but more importantly plenty of laughs. It is also a time to catch with the latest trends that is happening. The subject of downloading movies and series came up.

The most technical person in the group brought up the subject of getting a DVD player that can play AVI file and has a USB connection, which we assume allows us to connect to a external hard disk. Then the famous Casper asked a question "How do you select which movie to watch if you plug in the hard disk ?" In her mind she was thinking you don't have a mouse. hehehehe.. well actually I wanted to ask that question too. Lucky for me Casper was around.. cos the answer was "have you heard of a thing call the DVD remote control." In my heart I was saying Thanks Casper.. at least I didn't sound so silly...

Actually there was a funny story about Casper at the dinner. But then Casper is always funny.. But that is a story for another time and it sort you have to be there sort of event.

My mission this weekend will be to go and find the DVD player which can plug in a hard disk and can play AVI...I have people who depend on me to find this information.

MY BLOG STILL NOT COLORFUL... WAIT AH... Next change coming... it a work in progress..

If you don't have nice things to say...

I was having dinner with my fren yesterday and I mention I have a blog. After getting over the inital comment of shock that I actually I have a blog, the next comment was "i bet you won't keep the blog for long." I was thinking what sort of encouragement is this.

I realise having deal with many young adults problems recently (I am a person who don't have my own kids but got a lot of children problem), that the things you say to them which we consider not important or maybe made as a passing comment becomes a big issue for them.

Making comments like "Your so-and so friend is so much skinny and pretty than you" can cause a person to go and stop eating and exercise like crazy. Then you will be making comment like "Please eat.. why you not eating.. you are so skinny.." Which validates the point that they are skinny and they are beautiful. Don't ask me how they reach that conclusion.

Comments like "Your fren is smarter than you" can cause a massive crying bout.

So please please as mature adults be mindful of your words to these budding minds and remember to if you do not have a nice comment to make just say "Be cool.. you are a great person".

To the young adults... Remember God made you unique and you are talented and beautiful in your own way. You must find your own path in life.

And most importantly no crying phone call to me after 10:00 pm !!!!!

Back to Work

Why is it after you back from a leave you are more tired than before ? I thought I will take leave to relax and catch up on my DVD watching but in the end I only managed to watch 3 esp of Heros in four days, and that was because I watch two shows yesterday.

Well what did I do over the holidays.. see Fri I went to gym, then after that spend the whole day with Li-Sha, Li-mae and her side kick. Actually Li-mae and side kick was dropped off at home earlier coz they had to prepare for Li-Sha "suprise" party. hehe. well it was not too much of a suprise but then it is the thought that count.

Sat.. went to gym, then went to 1Utama for some shopping. Then after that went to Subnag Parade. I saw the Wii.. and I must say it look so damm cool. Maybe that will be my next present to myself.

Sun.. went to lunch, then went to the curve and went to dinner. Nothing exciting but then i think that is what cause me to be so tired.

Well actually I did manage to go to Gym on Fri, Sat, and Mon. My mind was willing to go this morning but my body wanted to stay in bed. My body won over. Oh well.. I will try again trow.
